RECIPE & COOKING METHOD
For over 86 years, we have used the same recipe and quality ingredients to create our gourmet popcorn and countless family traditions. We hand-mix every batch the same way we started in 1940. While it is tempting to use technology and machines, every kernel is coated by hand at one of our Boardwalk locations.
PACKAGING
We have been disrupting the popcorn packaging market for years. Our tins help keep your popcorn fresh and crunchy well after your first bite. Bags aren't our thing—and they make it hard to share!
CORPORATE GIFTING
Our 2 Gallon Tin is designed for sharing with families, friends, or groups. The 2 Gallon Tin can be customized with a label that includes your message and logo.
We can ship in bulk to your office or individually to clients for the holidays, quarterly gifts, professional milestones, or new employee onboarding.
SPECIAL EVENTS / COLLABORATIONS / PARTIES

Questions? We've Got Answers.
How much popcorn is in a 2 Gallon Tin?
Our 2 Gallon Tins hold approximately 34–35 cups of Johnson's Popcorn, depending on the flavor. Net weights vary because each recipe has different ingredients and coatings. It's a generous size for sharing with family, friends, coworkers, or anyone who loves fresh popcorn.
Why do 2 Gallon Tin flavors have different net weights?
Each Johnson's Popcorn flavor is made with its own combination of ingredients. Our lighter Butter and Cheddar varieties naturally weigh less than our rich Caramel, Peanut Crunch, and chocolate-covered flavors. Although the tin size stays the same, the net weight varies by recipe.
How long does popcorn stay fresh in a 2 Gallon Tin?
Johnson's Popcorn is made fresh and packaged for you to enjoy. For the best flavor and texture, keep your tin tightly closed and store it in a cool, dry place. Freshness can vary by flavor and storage conditions.
Are Johnson's 2 Gallon Tin flavors gluten free?
Our standard popcorn flavors are gluten free. Ingredients and allergens vary by flavor, particularly for recipes containing milk, soy, or peanuts. Please review the ingredient and allergen information for your selected flavor before ordering.
Can I send a 2 Gallon Tin as a gift?
Absolutely! Our 2 Gallon Tins make wonderful gifts for birthdays, holidays, family celebrations, employee appreciation, and client thank-yous. Choose your favorite tin design and popcorn flavor for a delicious gift that's made for sharing.
Can I ship 2 Gallon Tins to multiple addresses or add my company logo?
Yes! Johnson's Popcorn offers gifting options for both personal and corporate orders. You can send gifts to multiple addresses, and custom branding options may be available for qualifying corporate orders. Contact our team to discuss personalized gifting and larger orders.
Popcorn Sizes & Weights
Because each popcorn flavor has a different recipe and density, net weight and approximate volume vary by flavor and container size.
